How to make a sock snowman

Looking for a charming, no-sew winter craft? Turn a lonely sock into a delightful snowman! I make these with my family every year; they’re perfect for gifting or adding a whimsical touch to your holiday decor.

Let’s Build a Frosty Friend:

Gather Your Supplies: One white crew sock, rice or lentils for filling, rubber bands, buttons, orange felt (for the nose), and scrap fabric for a scarf.

Fill ‘Em Up: Cut the sock about two-thirds of the way down. Pour rice into the foot section to create a weighted base. Keep filling the leg to form the body and head.

Shape Him: Use rubber bands to cinch the snowman into three sections: a large bottom, a medium middle, and a small head.

Dress Him Up: Glue on buttons for his coat. Cut a tiny triangle of orange felt and roll it into a carrot nose, securing it with glue. Finally, tie a small scrap of fabric around his neck for a scarf!

He’s a friendly fellow who’ll never melt!
