How to Make Beautiful Silk Thread Tassel Earrings
If you’re looking for an easy, boho-chic project, this is it! Silk thread tassel earrings are lightweight, incredibly stylish, and take minutes to make. I made a pair in maroon and gold for a friend, and she gets stopped every time she wears them.

Gather your supplies: Silk embroidery thread (multiple colors look fantastic!), earring hooks, jump rings, a small piece of cardboard, and sharp scissors.

Step-by-Step Magic:

Wrap the Thread: Cut a small piece of cardboard (about 1.5 inches wide). Wind your silk thread around it 20-30 times, depending on how full you want your tassel.

Create the Loop: Carefully slide the wound thread off the cardboard. Cut a separate 4-inch piece of thread and slide it under the top of the loop. Tie it tightly in a double knot—this creates the top of your tassel and the loop for attaching the hook.

Cut the Bottom: Cut through the looped threads at the bottom opposite your knot. You now have a basic tassel!

Trim & Attach: Trim the bottom ends to make them even. For a professional touch, you can add a small bead cap at the top to hide the knot. Finally, use a jump ring to connect the tassel to an earring hook.

Mix and match colors for a playful, layered effect. They’re effortless elegance!

Here, I have made some different models of tassel earrings and shared that models with you. In the second picture I have shown the matching silk thread earring with the necklace I made before.
