How to Make a Paper Flower Wall Hanging (Tutorial)
Paper flowers are my forever favorite craft—they last forever and are so customizable. I created a massive floral wreath for my front door using this method, and it still looks fresh years later! Let’s make a burst of everlasting blooms.

Gather: Colored craft paper or old book pages, scissors, a hot glue gun, and a base (embroidery hoop or cardboard ring).

Craft Your Blooms:

Choose Your Flowers: Simple giant roses or whimsical dahlias are easiest. For a rose, cut a spiral circle out of paper. For a dahlia, cut multiple layers of fringed petals in decreasing sizes.

Form the Flowers: For the spiral rose, start from the outside and tightly roll the paper inward, letting it naturally flare to form the flower. Secure the base with glue. For the dahlia, layer the fringed circles from largest to smallest, gluing them together in the center.

Assemble the Hanging: Paint your base (like an embroidery hoop) a complementary color. Start gluing your largest flowers onto the base first, filling in gaps with smaller blooms, leaves, and even paper vines. Let some flowers overflow the edge for dynamic energy.

Hang it up and enjoy your permanent, pollen-free garden! This is a fantastic way to add a pop of color to a nursery or living room.
