Latest Front Neck Design with Embroidery, Lace Cutting, and Stitching
Why spend hours embroidering when you can use gorgeous pre-embroidered lace? This is my number one cheat for creating a luxurious neckline in minutes. I used a delicate floral lace on a plain black kurti, and it looked like a high-end boutique piece.
The trick is to treat the lace as a built-in facing.
Here’s how to do it perfectly:
Choose Your Lace: Select an embroidery lace trim that’s at least 2-3 inches wide. You’ll need a length that matches your neckline circumference.
Cut and Pin: Place the right side of the lace against the wrong side of your kurti’s neckline. The prettiest embroidered edge should be pointing down towards the bodice.
Stitch: Sew the lace to the neckline using a straight stitch, following the neckline’s curve.
The Beautiful Flip: Press the seam allowance towards the lace. Now, flip the lace over to the right side of the kurti and press it flat. The clean, folded edge of the lace will now be on the inside, and all you see on the outside is the beautiful embroidered border.
It’s a professional, clean, and stunning finish that requires zero advanced embroidery skills.
