This is a classic Christmas craft that’s perfect for kids and a brilliant way to reuse a plastic bottle! You’ll need a 2-liter bottle, red and white felt, cotton wool, glue, and googly eyes.
Handmade Santa Claus from a Plastic Bottle

The Base: The bottle’s body becomes Santa’s body. Wrap it tightly with red felt and glue it securely.
The Face: The top curved part of the bottle (with the cap) is his head. Glue on a circle of pink felt for the face. Add a fluffy white cotton wool beard and moustache, then stick on the googly eyes.
The Finishing Touches: Glue a band of white felt and cotton wool around the bottom for his coat’s fur trim. Wrap a strip of black felt around the middle for a belt. For the cap, create a cone from red felt, add a white cotton wool pom-pom at the end, and glue it to the bottle cap.
It’s a festive, zero-waste project that brings so much cheer!
