How to Make a Double Basket Wall Hanging
Macramé is huge, but have you seen the double basket trend? It’s a gorgeous way to add boho texture and practical storage to your walls. You’ll need some coir or jute rope, two small embroidery hoops (one slightly larger than the other), and a hot glue gun.

Create the Netting: Cut several long pieces of rope. Tie them to the smaller hoop using lark’s head knots, spacing them evenly.

Weave the Base: Gather all the cords together under the hoop and tie them tightly with another piece of rope, creating the bottom of your first basket. Leave long tails.

Attach the Second Tier: Take the longer tails and separate them. Tie them onto the larger hoop, repeating the process to create a second, larger basket underneath the first.

Finish: Trim any excess cord and fluff it out. Hang it with a separate piece of rope tied between the two hoops. I love putting small potted plants or rolled-up magazines in mine!
