Before you toss yesterday’s news, turn it into chic, farmhouse-style decor! A newspaper wreath is surprisingly elegant and costs almost nothing to make. I made one for my front door and get compliments on it all the time.

Let’s Get Rolling:

Make Paper Tubes: Tightly roll full sheets of newspaper diagonally around a skewer, gluing the end to secure. You’ll need about 50-60 of these tubes.

Form the Base: Bend a wire coat hanger into a circle. This is your wreath form.

Attach the Tubes: Using hot glue or strong tape, attach the newspaper tubes side-by-side around the wire form, covering it completely.

Spray Paint: For a unified, modern look, spray paint the entire wreath a solid color. Matte white, black, or even a metallic gold looks incredibly sophisticated.

It’s a brilliant conversation starter and a wonderful way to upcycle.

Wreath is a very popular decoration item and many people make various types of designer wreaths on various occasions. Wreaths are used on festivals and celebration events like Christmas, wedding, Halloween, etc.

You can make wreath using any material and type as you want. Wreaths can be made using organic things like flowers, leaves and branches as well as non-organic things like plastic bottles, wire, etc.
