How to make very easy handmade door hanging toran
Welcome guests with a beautiful, handmade toran! You can make a stunning one in under an hour using materials you probably already have. I love making seasonal ones; a Diwali toran with marigold flowers and mango leaves is a favorite.
The No-Sew Pom-Pom Toran:
Make Pom-Poms: Use a fork, your fingers, or a pom-pom maker to create several fluffy pom-poms in festive colors.
String Them: Cut a long piece of jute rope or ribbon. Simply tie your pom-poms onto the rope at regular intervals, mixing colors as you go.
Add Greenery (Optional): Tuck in faux mango leaves or small branches of artificial greenery between the pom-poms for a traditional touch.
Hang It: Your beautiful, cheerful toran is ready to hang! This method is so easy, it’s a fantastic project to do with kids.
