Prep: Start with day-old hair or spritz dry shampoo at the roots for grip. Brush through to remove any tangles.
Low Ponytail: Gather all your hair into a low ponytail at the nape of your neck and secure it with a clear elastic. Don’t pull it too tight; you want a little softness.
The Twist: Split the ponytail directly down the middle into two sections. Now, simply twist these two sections around each other until the entire length is twisted.
The Bun: Wrap the twisted length around the base of the ponytail to form a bun. See how the twist creates a beautiful, textured pattern?
Secure & Finish: Secure the bun with bobby pins, tucking the end under. Gently pull on a few sections of the twist to loosen it and add volume. Finish with a light-hold hairspray to tame any flyaways. You’re done!
