The Magic of a Flower Bouquet Pop-Up Card
Nothing says “I really thought about you” like a handmade pop-up card. A flower bouquet popping out of the inside is a guaranteed smile-maker. I’ve made these for birthdays and thank-yous, and they’re always a huge hit.

Here’s a simplified method:

The Base: Fold a sturdy piece of cardstock in half. This is your card.

The Pop-Up Mechanism: Cut a separate strip of paper. Fold it in an “M” or accordion shape. Glue one end of this folded strip to the inside center of your card and the other end to the back of your main flower element.

The Bouquet: Cut out various flower and leaf shapes from colored paper. Layer them for dimension. Don’t just glue them flat to the pop-up strip; bend the petals upward for a 3D effect. Add a tiny button or a gemstone to the center of the biggest flower for extra charm.

When your recipient opens the card, the bouquet will spring to life! It’s a beautiful, personal alternative to a store-bought card.
