How to make wind chime from paper – Home Decoration
Looking for a craft that’s light on budget but big on charm? A paper wind chime is the answer. It creates the gentlest, most soothing sound on a breezy day. I made one with my niece, and she loved personalizing each piece.
Let’s Get Crafting:
You’ll Need: Sturdy paper (colored cardstock, old book pages, or even painted coffee filters), string, a small stick or embroidery hoop, scissors, and glue.
Create the Chimes: Cut your paper into shapes—geometric stars, simple circles, or classic leaves. Fold origami cranes for an extra challenge! Make several in different sizes.
Assemble: Punch a hole in the top of each shape. Cut strings of varying lengths and tie a shape to one end of each.
Tie It All Together: Tie the other ends of the strings to your stick or hoop, spacing them out. Create a few longer strings for the bottom layer. Add a final string to the top to hang it.
Hang it in a window or on a porch where it can catch a soft draft. It’s a beautiful, whimsical touch that’s completely child-friendly.
