Jewellery Mehndi Design Ideas

Jewellery mehndi mimics the look of actual chains, pendants, and stones on the skin. For beginners, the key is to start simple and focus on one element.

The Easy Start: Instead of covering your entire hand, try a simple “ring” design. Draw a line from a ring finger down to the wrist. Add a few small, tear-drop “pendants” along the line. At the wrist, draw a classic watch or a broad cuff bracelet.

Use Dots: Dots are your best friend! They can represent gemstones or just add filler detail without the pressure of perfect lines.

Keep it Thin: Use a fine-tipped cone. Thin lines are much more forgiving for beginners than trying to master thick, bold fills. Practice drawing simple chain links (just tiny connected “C” shapes) on paper first.

In my experience, a minimalist jewellery design on the side of the palm is often more elegant than a crowded, complicated one.
