Make awesome photo frame out of paper sticks
Those leftover paper sticks from ice lollies are a crafting goldmine! Turning them into a photo frame is a fantastic way to create a unique, personalized piece of wall art. I made a hexagonal one for a friend’s birthday, and she adored the rustic-chic vibe.
Let’s Build Your Frame:
Gather & Plan: Collect a bunch of clean, dry popsicle sticks. Decide on a shape—a simple square or a cool hexagon.
Build the Base: Lay out your sticks side-by-side. Glue two sticks perpendicularly across the top and bottom to hold them together, creating a solid back panel.
Create the Frame: Now, start gluing sticks around the edges of this panel, building up the frame’s depth. You can layer them for a 3D effect.
Paint & Personalize: Paint the entire frame in a solid color or get creative with patterns. Once dry, glue a favorite photo to the back panel and add a string to hang it.
It’s a wonderful, low-cost project that adds a handmade touch to any room.
