Easy DIY Doormat Making Tutorial

The Painting Trick: Don’t glob on the paint! This is the biggest mistake. Instead, use a dry-brush technique. Dip your brush, wipe off excess paint, and use a stippling or dabbing motion to apply it. This prevents the mat from getting stiff and allows the paint to seep into the fibers without bleeding.
Dry & Seal: Let it dry completely for 24 hours. For extra durability, especially for outdoor mats, give it a light spray with a clear outdoor-rated sealant.
