Easy Hand Embroidery Design on Kurti
You don’t need to be a master embroiderer to personalize a plain kurti! My favorite quick-win design is a simple running stitch and lazy daisy flower motif along the neckline or cuff.

Why it works: The running stitch is as easy as threading a needle up and down, and lazy daisies are just simple loops secured with a tiny stitch. Together, they create a charming, boho-chic look.

Here’s How:

Trace a faint guideline with a water-soluble pen.

Use a backstitch for a thin, continuous stem line.

Add lazy daisy stitches along the stem for leaves and flowers.

Fill in with French knots (don’t worry, we’ll talk about those next!) at the flower centers for texture.

This combo is practically foolproof. I always recommend practicing the stitches on a scrap of similar fabric first to get your tension right. In my experience, using a single bold color like fiery orange or electric blue on a neutral kurti makes the handcrafted detail really pop.
