How to Make a Cardboard Item Holder
Cardboard is an organizer’s secret weapon! I’ve made countless desk organizers from delivery boxes, and they’re just as functional as store-bought ones. My favorite is a Multi-Tiered Desktop Organizer for holding mail, notebooks, and pens.
Here’s the easy method:
Gather & Cut: Use a box cutter to cut your cardboard into various-sized rectangles. You’ll need a base and several strips for the walls of your compartments.
Build the Grid: Plan your layout on the base. Do you want long sections for papers or small squares for pens? Cut your wall strips to size.
Assemble with Glue: Using a hot glue gun, attach the wall strips vertically to the base to create your grid of compartments. For extra strength, you can double-layer the cardboard for the walls.
Finish & Decorate: Cover the entire organizer with colorful contact paper, wrapping paper, or even just a coat of paint. This hides the cardboard texture and makes it look chic and intentional.
It’s customizable, free, and a perfect afternoon project to declutter your space.
This corner is made of cardboard and looks very beautiful. It is so useful at home and very easy in making. It is out of waste things which is very easily available in every house.
