How to Make Flower Bunches Using Old Shopping Bag
This is one of my favorite zero-waste crafts. Those colorful shopping bags can be transformed into stunning, long-lasting floral arrangements. The key is to play with the bag’s printed logos and colors for a modern, artistic look.

Let’s make a simple rose:

Cut Strips: Cut the bag into long strips, about 2-3 inches wide.

Form the Center: Fold one strip in half lengthwise and start twisting and rolling it tightly to form the flower’s center. Secure the base with a dot of hot glue.

Add Petals: Cut petal shapes from other strips. Layer and glue them around the center, ruffling and twisting them as you go to create dimension.

Assemble the Bunch: Make several flowers in varying sizes and colors. Bundle their stems (made from twisted bag strips or wired) together and wrap them with more plastic strips or ribbon.

This project is incredibly versatile—make a full bouquet or a single statement bloom for a hair accessory.
