Bracelet “Pink Sunset” Kind time of the day, dear needlewomen! Welcome to my, next, master class on weaving bracelets in the technique of macrame. In the street it’s cold and snow, and the soul requires a holiday, when one wants to wear a festive dress and ornaments. One of these ornaments I suggest you do yourself. Today I would like to introduce you the manufacture of a delicate, pink bracelet made of nylon cord and pearl beads. Delicate tones and elegant look will be to the liking of any fashionista. Be sure – such a gift will be remembered for a long time and there will be orders for such products! So let’s get down to it!
To make this bracelet we need the following materials and tools:
– a cord nylon (up to 2 millimeters in diameter) pink two cuts of 70 centimeters and one cut of 30 centimeters, white one cut of 70 centimeters;
– cord nylon white (one millimeter in diameter) 35-40 centimeters for the base;
– pearl beads – four pieces of pink color and gently pink, almost white – five pieces;
– scissors;
– Super glue;
– a lighter for reflowing the edges of the cord;
– a tablet (I have a tight cardboard);
– 2 binders (clamps).
Step 1. Stringing beads.
We take a detachment of a thin cord that is intended for the base, we melt the edges with a lighter and tie a knot at one end. String a pink bead, then alternate the other beads. Now string one gently pink and tie and on the other side a knot.
We attach the cord-base to the plate. Carefully determine the middle and attach the workpiece. Behind the plank should be the edges of the base cord of the same length.
Step 2. Beginning of weaving.
We take the pink cord and pass it under the cord base. We center like ordinary shoe laces. Now bend the left edge of the cord and put it on the base cord. We take the right edge of the cord, bend it, put it on the pink one, look with the end to the right, we pull the base cord from below and show it over the bent left cord to the left.
Thus, the cord is laid out in the form as in the photo.
Tighten both ends of the cord. It looks like an ordinary nodule.
Now we do the opposite – bend the right edge of the cord and put it on the base cord from above. We take the left edge, bend it and put it on the pink one, which looks to the left, we feed the cord-base and show it over the bent right cord to the right.
Again the photo will indicate whether you did it correctly.
Tightening both edges of the cord, we get a square knot. So it’s called in macrame.
Now we bind in the same way the white cord.
Then again, tie the second pink cord and make a square knot.
Thus, we have three square knots on the cord-base.
Step 3. The braiding of beads.
We push to our knots the first, gently pink, bead.
We take the upper cord, stretch its both edges over the lower cords, from above.
Embracing the bead, we make the first bundle.
We do not tighten much, because we need free curls. Next, make a second nodule.
Tightly tightening the edges, we have a square knot. If you need to adjust the curls, then you can freely pull them aside, and they obediently accept the position you set.
Next, we take the white cord and lift the edges over the underlying node, hold it below the bead. We weave a square knot below pink.

And the third, again a pink cord, having lifted above the cords, below we weave a square knot.
Thus, we have formed a wavy weaving, called the Spider. If you want more free curls, cut off not 70 cm cord, but one meter each. Then you will have a stock for a freestyle weaving.
We continue in the same way to braid and the subsequent beads, alternating color of a cord and beads.
So we twisted seven beads. You can braid and more beads, pre-strung them at the beginning of work. The number of beads and the length of the cords determines the diameter of the bracelet. If the arm is thicker, then the bracelet should be larger. And vice versa. Now fix the weave.
Step 4. Fixing the weave.
Remove the bracelet from the tablet. For the necessity, drag our weave neatly to the middle of the base cord. If you squeeze both edges to the middle, our curls will become round and will be wider and more free to look, but the length of the bracelet will be less, which can affect its size.
Turn the wristlet over. Accurately, tiny droplets drip on the last three nodules. The droplets should be as small as possible. After all, if you pour glue knots, then it will leak onto the base cord and glue our weaving to the base. Over time, rupture of the base cord in places where the glue falls.
Then you can cut the excess cord.
Lighten the cut cord with a lighter. Cauterize gently, gradually. If you burn one edge for a long time, then a black spool is formed. And this spoils the look of a gentle bracelet.
Step 5. Weaving the castle.
Now we need to weave the lock for our bracelet. Place the ends of the bracelet side by side, but in the opposite direction to each other.
Take both ends of the hand. Pink cord, 30 centimeters, fold in half and embrace the cord base.
Let’s make the first knot.
We will tighten. Let’s make a second knot.
And we get a square knot.
Thus, we continue to weave the castle until its length does not suit us. To do this, you should wear a bracelet on your wrist and tighten the tails of the base cord with the beads on the edges. The bracelet should sit on the arm freely, without squeezing the wrist and not flailing from the hand.
Having finished weaving the castle, we drip superglue on the last node, from the inside.
We cut off the tails. And cauterize the lighter.
