Talk about a creative and zero-waste craft! This project is so meditative. You’ll need an embroidery hoop or a sturdy branch and a big collection of colorful rubber bands.
The Base: Secure your bands to the top hoop or branch by looping them on. Don’t tie them; just double-knot them so they hang down.
The Weave: This is where you get creative! Start weaving other rubber bands horizontally through the vertical strands, just like a classic God’s Eye or dream catcher weave. You can create geometric patterns by alternating colors.
Add Embellishments: Weave in beads, feathers, or even small charms to add texture. I made one with shades of blue and green bands and added little gold beads for a boho-chic look. It’s a stunning, textural piece of art that costs almost nothing to make
