How to make vase from crushed glass
That broken plate or glass? Don’t throw it out! You can transform it into a stunning, one-of-a-kind mosaic vase. This project embraces the Japanese philosophy of Kintsugi—finding beauty in breakage.
Create Your Shimmering Masterpiece:
Safety First: Wear gloves and safety glasses. Place the broken glass between two towels and gently hammer it into smaller, pieces.
Prepare the Base: Find a plain glass vase or bottle. Clean it thoroughly with rubbing alcohol.
Stick & Grout: Using a strong adhesive suitable for glass, glue the pieces onto the vase. Once dry, apply grout over the entire surface, pushing it into the gaps. Wipe away the excess with a damp sponge, revealing your beautiful mosaic pattern.
The light catches the edges of the glass, creating a dazzling effect. It’s a truly unique way to upcycle and create functional art.
Today’s video is all about the bling! if you’re looking for lots of bling this is the video for you… this vase is great for a home decor and all type of events such as weddings.
