How to make a easy pen stand from stick
Tired of boring desk organizers? Head outside! You can create a rustic, charming pen stand using small twigs and a tin can. It’s a fantastic way to bring a bit of nature to your workspace. I made one for my home office, and it’s always a conversation starter.
Your Nature-Inspired Guide:
Gather Materials: Collect straight, dry twigs of a similar thickness. You’ll also need an empty can, hot glue, and twine.
Glue the Twigs: Working one by one, run a line of hot glue along a twig and press it vertically onto the outside of the can. Continue until the entire can is covered.
Secure with Twine: Wrap a piece of twine around the top and bottom of the can, tying it securely. This adds a nice rustic touch and helps hold everything in place.
Finish: You can leave it natural for a woodsy look or spray paint it a fun color.
It’s an easy, affordable project that turns clutter into a beautiful display.
