How to Make an Organizer from a Sweet Box
Don’t toss that empty chocolate or gift box! With a bit of fabric and glue, it can become a gorgeous desktop organizer. I’ve made dozens of these—they’re my go-to quick gift. The key is to measure twice and cut once.

Start by choosing a sturdy box. Clean it thoroughly and remove any sticky labels. Then, it’s all about aesthetics. Cut decorative paper or fabric to size and use Mod Podge or a simple glue stick to adhere it, smoothing out any bubbles. For the inside, I love creating compartments. You can cut smaller boxes to fit inside, or even use folded cardstock to create dividers. Line those with a contrasting pattern for a professional pop. Finally, seal everything with a clear varnish for durability. Suddenly, that waste is holding your pens, makeup brushes, or stationery in style!
