- Colored Paper Sheets (White And Brown)
- Colored Clay (Yellow, Orange, And Green)
- Scissors
- Clay Shaping Tool
- Sketch Marker (Black And Brown)
Clay-Paper Sunflower Instructions
Step #1: Pasting A Circle On The Base
To begin this craft, take a white paper sheet and a brown paper sheet. Using scissors, cut down the white paper sheet into a circle to make the base of your craft, and cut out a small circle from the brown sheet. Paste the brown circle over the base in the center using glue.
Step #2: Pasting More Brown Circles
Cut out 2 more small circles from the brown sheet randomly of different sizes and paste them onto the base using glue on the upper side of the base.
Step #3: Making Slanting Strokes On The Circle
Using a brown sketch marker, draw slanting strokes over the brown circle at a similar distance as shown in the image.
Step #4: Making A Criss-Cross Pattern Over The Circle
Using the sketch marker, make further opposite slating strokes to make a criss-cross pattern over the circle. Do the same on all the circles and they will become the centers of your sunflowers.
Step #5: Stretching Out A Piece Of Orange Clay
Take orange clay, stretch it, and take out a piece from it.
Step #6: Making Clay Circles Around The Sunflower Centers
Dough the orange clay into small balls and place them over the boundary of the center of the sunflowers. Press to flatten them into a circle.
Step #7: Completing A Circle Of Clay Circles
Stick and press the clay balls over the boundary of the centers to complete a circle of them around it. These will be the petals of your sunflower.
Step #8: Making Petals And Stems Of All
Following the same previous steps make the circle petals around all the centers of the sunflower. Now, using the brown sketch marker, draw the curvy stems of the sunflowers beneath them over the base.
Step #9: Making Leaves To The Stems
Using green-colored clay, make the broad leaves of the sunflowers by their stems by pressing and dragging clay balls of it.
Step #10: Making A Bee And Detailing The Leaves
Take yellow-colored clay. dough it into an ellipse shape and place it over the top of sunflowers on the base and press it to flatten it into an oval. This will be the bee. Now, using a clay shaping tool, carve veins of the leaves over them as shown in the image.
Step #11: Detailing The Bee
Using a black marker, make a dotted eye of the bee and also curved vertical lines behind it to make the pattern of the bee.
Your Sunflower Garden With Bees Clay Craft Is Ready!
For the last step, make 2 more bees on the base randomly, following the same procedure as before and using the black marker, make their curved wings, 2 antennas, and a spiky tail behind them.
