Clay Cactuses Instructions
Step #1: Making Cactuses
Begin this craft by taking circular cardboard as the base for the craft and super clay. Dough the green-colored super clay into a thick and small roll and place it over the top of the base. Now, using your 3 middle fingers press and drag the clay roll to the bottom to form a cactus. Similarly, make a roll of blue clay and place it below the green one on the side, but keep some part of it over the green cactus and press and drag it too to form a blue cactus.
Step #2: Making More Cactuses
As you make the green and blue cactus, make more colorful cactuses over the base, each slightly over the other and of random sizes. Make sure to use vibrant colored super clay to make the cactuses.
Step #3: Completing Making The Cactuses
Form the last layer of cactus very small and over the previously made ones. Don’t forget to use various colored clay to differentiate each cactus from the other.
Step #4: Making A Long Brown Clay Roll
Now, take brown colored super clay and dough it to make a long and thick roll of it and place it at the bottom of the base by overlapping the cactuses as shown in the image.
Step #5: Making the Ground
Using your finger, again press and drag the brown clay roll to the bottom one by one to cover the whole bottom side and make the ground beneath the cactuses.
Step #6: Making The Cactus Flowers
Now, for making the flower, dough a small ball of red clay and place 3 above the cactus. Press and drag it to the middle tip of the cactus to make it look like a flower above the cactus. Make flowers above each cactus using different colored clay balls.
Step #7: Making The Spikes Of The Cactuses
For the spikes, use white-colored super clay. Pluck out very tiny balls from the white clay and stick them over the cactuses’ vertical lines formed by the fingers. These will look like the spikes of the cactuses.
