- Double Sided Tape

- Yellow Thread
- Colored Papers ( Pink, Light Green)

Lotus Lantern Craft Instruction
Step #1: Taking A Yellow Color Paper Cup
Firstly, take a yellow paper cup & cut it vertically from the upper side by using scissors.
Step #2: Cutting A Yellow Color Paper Cup
Make a horizontal cut as shown in the image.
Step #3: Putting Thread Into The Holes
Cut all the upper part of the cup & make two holes just opposite to each other one on the left & other right side. Take a yellow thread & put it into those holes in the same manner as shown in the above image.
Step #4: Knotting The Thread
Here, we knot the thread from the top side.
Step #5: Folding The Triangle Shape Pink Paper From The Middle
Take a pink color paper & cut it into a triangle shape & fold it vertically half from the center to make creases.
Step #6: Again Fold It Into A Triangle
Now, again fold it to make a triangle shape.
Step #7: Fold The Top Of Triangle To The Center
Fold the top of the triangle toward the center as shown in the above image. Take a black marker and draw a curvy line on the paper & make a cut along the outline that we drew.
Step #8: Applying Double Sided Tape On Flower
Now, unfold the flower outline. Apply double-sided tape on each petal corner of the flower.
Step #9: Putting Paper Cup At Center Of Pink Flower
Pasting the paper cup in the center of the flower.
Step #10: Make A Zig-Zag Strip By Folding Green Paper
Take a piece of green paper & cut it into the shape of a rectangle and fold it to make a zig-zag strip.
Step #11: Attaching Both Ends Of Zig-Zag Strip
Now, take the zig-zag strip & fold it from the center & attach both the ends of strip & press it from the lower middle by using your fingers.
Step #12: Making One More Zig-Zag Strip
Make one more zig-zag strip from green paper by following the same instructions as we mentioned above.
Step #13: Complete Making Strip
Make one more zig-zag strip & paste all three of them with each other by using double-sided tape to make a leaf part of the lotus flower.
Step #14: Pasting Lotus Flower On The Leaf Part
Pasting the lotus flower on the center of the leaf.
