Recycled Hen & Chicks Craft Procedure
Step #1: Taking A Sunflower Seed & Peanut Shell
Take a green color paper & cut it into a circle shape using scissors. Take a sunflower seed & a peanut shell.
Step #2: Drawing Hen Body
Take a pencil & draw a hen’s body on the green paper.
Step #3: Completing The Drawing
Complete drawing of hen’s body.
Step #4: Applying Glue Over The Hen Body
Apply glue inside the hen’s body.
Step #5: Pasting A Sunflower Seed
Take a sunflower seed & paste it on the left corner of the drawing horizontally tilted.
Step #6: Pasting More Seeds
One by one paste sunflower seeds beside the first one in a line and make sure to keep the seeds a little over each other to give a 3D look for the hen’s drawing.
Step #7: Pasting Some More Seeds
By following the same procedure & paste sunflower seeds one by one as shown in the above image.
Step #8: Pasting Googly Eyes
Now, complete pasting sunflower seeds. Take a googly eye & paste it on the right end of the hen’s body using glue.
Step #9: Drawing Hen’s Comb
Take a red color sketch & draw a heart shape on the top of the head for the hen’s comb.
Step #10: Drawing Legs
Now, fill in the red color in the comb part. Make the beak part of the hen using a red sketch below the eyes. Now, take a black sketch or marker & draw the hen’s leg at the lower side of his body.
Step #11: Making Chick Eyes
Draw one more leg as we do in the above step. Take a peanut shell & paste it at the bottom left side on green paper using glue. Now, take a black marker & draw eyes for the chick.
Step #12: Making More Chicks & Adding Their Features
Now, make a beak & legs for the chick. By following the same procedure as we mentioned in the above step make some more chicks.

To complete the craft, take blue & yellow color sketches & make some flowers on green paper as shown in the figure.
