Chicks Oil Pastel Instructions
Step #1: Making Two Circles From Saffron-Colored Oil Pastel
Take a blank, white sheet of paper and make a circle in it. Cut the circle using a pair of scissors. On the same white sheet, using a saffron-colored oil pastel, make two small circles, one on another and one bigger than the other. Take the assistance of the image presented as a reference above.
Step #2: Now, Using An Easy Bud, Blend The Color Inside
Now, grab an earbud. Using that, blend the color inside the circles for a smooth texture. Also, make strokes from the outline towards the outside. The strokes must be really small. Take a look at the image right above. The strokes, just like that, must give the furry effect.
Step #3: Making The Eyes And The Beak Respectively
Take a red and a black colored sketch pen or marker. Using the black one, make the eye, in the form of a dot inside the smaller circle that is the head. Using the red one, make the beak of the chick.
Step #4: Making The Feet Of The Chick
Using the same red sketch pen or marker, make the feet of the chick.
Step #5: Making Two More Chicks. Do Not Forget To Make The Background
Now, just like you made one chick, make two more chicks using the same steps, right from the first one to the one prior to this 0ne. Retrace your steps and also look at this image. In the reference image presented in this step, the positions of the two other chicks are entirely different. One is looking at the opposite side and the other one is bent and looking downwards. So, you need to take care of that and make accordingly.
Here comes the final step. Now what is only left, is the background. For the background, refer to the final image, which is right below. Using light green colored oil pastel, make the grass all over. Make flowers using the red, blue, and pink wax crayons. For the flowers, start making a circle and end it inwards. Finally, using the dark green oil pastel, make the stems and the leaves. These are the easiest parts. The image will give you a definite idea of what to do.
