Handprint Giraffe Instructions
Step #1: Making The Hand Gesture
Begin this drawing by taking a white paper sheet as the base for your drawing. Now, using yor left hand make a sign by keeping your all fingers and thumb straight, just keep the middle finger folded. Place your hand over the base keeping the same hand gesture. See the image for reference.
Step #2: Outlining The Hand Gesture
Using a black marker, outline the whole hand over the base as shown in the image. This will be the giraffe base.
Step #3: Separating The Face And Neck Of Giraffe
Using the marker, connect your palm outline on the base in a curved way to separate the face from the neck of the giraffe. Also, draw a curved line on the bottom of the palm to make the mouth region of the giraffe.
Step #4: Drawing The Giraffe Features And Texture
Over the thumb and pinky finger outline part, make a long nail-like shape to make the ears of the giraffe using the marker. Using the marker, make curved lines at the tip of the ring and index finger part outline to make the horns of the giraffe.
Now, draw 2 round eyes of the giraffe above the separating mouth region of the giraffe. Make the eyeball on the right bottom part of the eyes and color them out leaving 2 circles in them to make them look shiny. Also, make 3-3 curved eyelashes above the eyes.
Draw a curved smile of the giraffe on the bottom of the palm outline part. Also, make 2 inverted curved lines above the smile on both sides with 2 dotted circles below them to make the nose of the giraffe.
At last, make the irregular giraffe pattern on the neck region as shown in the image.
