- Black Marker
- Colored Clays (Yellow, Orange, Green, Brown)
- White Construction Paper
Carrots Craft Instructions
Step #1: Taking Brown Clay As Soil
Take a piece of white construction paper & cut it out into a circle by using scissors. After that take a piece of brown clay & put it on the lower side of the white base & spread it using your fingertips to give it a look like the soil.
Step #2: Making A Carrot Using Orange Clay
Take an orange clay & put it on the white craft on the left side & spread it in the downward direction on the soil part by using your fingers.
Step #3: Making Another Small Carrots
Make a second carrot but smaller in size by the same process on the right side of the first one.
Step #4: Making Carrot Leaves
Take a piece of green clay & make three balls from it & put them on the top of the carrot & press them downside by using your fingers one by one as carrot leaves. Take a piece of yellow clay & make a third & fourth carrot one on the left & one on the right side by the same process.
Step #5: Draw Lateral Root Scars On The Carrot
Make 5th last carrot & make two leaves on the top of each carrot from green clay. Take a black marker & draw some horizontal lines on the carrot to show lateral root scars on the carrot.
Step #6: Draw Lateral Root Scars On Other Carrots
Draw some more little horizontal lines on the rest of the carrots in the same manner.
