Step #1: Making A Lotus Leaf
Begin this craft by taking a white paper sheet and cutting it down in a circle as the base for this craft, a leaf, and a pair of scissors. Using the scissors, cut the leaf into an oval shape and cut out a ‘v’ from the side of it to form a lotus leaf shape.
Step #2: Applying Glue To The Lotus Leaf
Apply glue on the back side of the lotus leaf you formed.
Step #3: Pasting The Lotus Leaf
Paste the lotus leaf over the base in the bottom-mid as shown in the image.
Step #4: Making Frog Body Over The Lotus Leaf
From a faded green-colored leaf cut a drop-shape from it using scissors and then cut out the top pointed part of the drop-shape horizontally to make the body of the frog. Paste this frog’s body in the middle of the upper half of the lotus leaf using glue.
Step #5: Making Legs Of The Frog
From the legs, cut out 2 thin and small oval shapes from the same leaf and paste them on the sides of the body at its bottom tilted outwards and under the body.
Step #6: Making The Face Of The Frog
Using scissors cut out an oval from the leaf and paste it above the body hiding the horizontal cut using glue. This will be the face of the frog.
Step #7: Making The Eye Base Of The Frog
Now, cut out 2 small circles from the leaf using scissors as the eye base of the frog and paste them above the face on both sides using glue and craft tweezers.
Step #8: Making Eyes Of The Frog
Using scissors cut out 2 further smaller circles from the white sheet. Draw the black eyeballs over the eyes using a black pen leaving a tiny circle to look like a shine in the eye. Hold these eyes using the craft tweezers and paste them onto the eye base using glue.
Step #9: Making Blush And Smile Of The Frog
Now, take a black marker and make a smile over the face at the bottom. Also, using a red marker make 2 ovals of the face on both sides above the smile to make them look like blush on the frog’s cheeks.
Step #10: Making Another Frog Sitting On Lotus Leaf
As you make the previous frog over the lotus leaf, make another frog on the left side of the base and a little above the previous one using the leaves. Now, using scissors, cut out ovals from a yellow sheet and paste them onto the body of the frogs using glue.
Step #11: Making Water Waves
Using a blue highlighter, make random waves on the base at the bottom half of it to make it look like the water waves of the pond.
Step #12: Adding Grass In The Pond
Using scissors, cut out a pointed grass shape from the leaf hold it using craft tweezers, and paste it over the base on the right using glue.
Step #13: Making The Plant
Using a green marker, draw 2 curved lines from the grass, and using the red marker, make 2 ovals over the lines to make the plants in the pond as shown in the image.
Step #14: Making Another Plant And A Sun
As you make the previous plant over the grass, make another one at its right and above. Now, cut out a circle from a red-colored leaf and paste it over the right top of the base using glue, this will be the sun in your scenery. Make sure to paste the sun a little outward the base and cut out that extra part coming out of the base using glue.
Step #15: Making The Sunrays
